There were some big wins in Round 15 in the Betfred Championship this weekend…
Whitehaven sealed back-to-back wins for the first time in 2026, as they held on to beat Midlands.
Haven had built up a comfortable 30-10 lead and managed to withstand a Hurricanes comeback which saw the hosts score three late tries.
Batley Bulldogs returned to winning ways, posting 50 points on Goole, including a hat-trick from playmaker Ben Reynolds.
Likewise, Newcastle Thunder were convincing victors against Hunslet - also scoring nine tries; three of which came from Jordan Lipp.
This victory moves them up to second in the table.
On Sunday, there was a close contest between Swinton and Halifax, with late drama unfolding at Heywood Road.
The Lions had been leading up until the very last play when Jesse Soric touched down to level things up. Myles Lawford then converted to snatch victory at the death for the visitors.
It was a big win for Barrow in the Cumbrian Derby against Workington, and similarly for Widnes, who kept their opponents Dewsbury scoreless.
Eight tries away at Salford saw Doncaster take a commanding victory and a league double against the Reds.
Richard Horne's men asserted their authority from the off in Greater Manchester and led at hal- time thanks to a brace from Alex Sutcliffe and tries from Bureta Faraimo, Mitieli Vulikijapani and Tom Holmes.
Faraimo completed his hat-trick in the second half, and a further try from Watson Boas saw the Dons take the two points home.
For London Broncos, it was a record-breaking victory in Round 15, as they defeated North Wales Crusaders 0-134 at Colwyn Bay.
The Broncos crossed for 25 tries in total, with centre Brandon Webster-Mansfield leading the way with a five-try performance.
Finally, Rochdale proved too strong for Keighley Cougars, with Jamie Dallimore completing his first hat-trick in Hornets colours.
